Fearless

what is Fearless?

what would happen if we all decided to live a fearless life, both personally and as a church? a life where we fearlessly stepped out in faith, and put all of our hope and future in god’s hands... a life where we pursued god’s possible.

Fearless is a two-year initiative that will affect every ministry and campus of Hope Fellowship. It will enable Hope Fellowship to strengthen and expand our existing ministry areas, but also increase our ability to bring hope and healing to people all around us.

To accomplish what we believe God has called Hope Fellowship to achieve, we must raise a minimum of $30,000,000 over the next two years.

you have the opportunity to be a part of what God is doing at hope.

LOVE FEARLESSLY

We strive to be a church that collectively and individually loves god with all our heart. one that continually seeks to worship and love him not just during a weekend service, but every day of our lives. we want to continue to reach out to our community so others can also experience his love.

At Hope Fellowship we recognize that each individual’s faith-walk is unique. Consequently, we strive to create a safe environment for people to express their love to God. We started out in a small, borrowed space and have, over time, created three campuses with relaxing, inviting and non-intimidating atmospheres that are uniquely Hope. We’ve worked to create this environment across all of our campuses, so that people feel welcome to come as they are. We want them to continue to feel this way as we invite more and more people to come and experience God’s love.

To accomplish this we must raise at least eight million dollars over the next the next two years, which will be used as follows:

  • Ministry and staffing for weekend services
  • Creative content
  • Facilities, utilities and maintenance
  • Media/Communication
  • Ministry and staffing for Children and Student Ministries
  • Worship

CONNECT FEARLESSLY

As christ followers we immediately become a part of god’s family… so that we can become something bigger than ourselves. hope fellowship wants you to be a part of our family.

Connection with other Christians is vital in order to maintain a healthy Christian walk. Connection opportunities were much simpler to create as a smaller church body, but as the body grew we had to get more creative. Over the years, Hope Fellowship has offered a number of connection events designed to foster new friendships and relationships with other believers. We plan to take our connection efforts yet another step further with Connect Track - an exciting new ministry designed to help everyone that takes this path find a sense of belonging with other believers.

To accomplish this we must raise at least three million dollars over the next the next two years, which will be used as follows:

  • Connect Track (coming soon)
  • Ministry staffing for Connections Staff
  • Facilities, utilities and maintenance
  • Staffing for Ministry Teams at Hope

grow FEARLESSLY

give you spiritual wisdom[a] and insight so that you might grow in your knowledge of God. Ephesians 1:17 (NLT)

The minute we accept Christ as our Savior, we begin the journey as a part of God’s family. It’s important that we all continue to create environments where we are growing in our knowledge of Him and in our faith. Recognizing that everyone is at a different place, Hope Fellowship has created a variety of ways for you to grow in your relationship with Christ: Re:generation for those seeking wholeness, Re:engage to strengthen marriages, Home Groups for community and study and Classes to increase your knowledge of God’s Word. The moment we stop looking for ways to grow, we stop living the kind of life that God intended us to live.

The following is a breakdown for the budget to help you grow with others:

  • Ministry staffing
  • Grow Classes
  • GroupLink
  • Facilities, utilities and maintenance
  • Re:generation - addiction recovery ministry (To begin Fall 2016)
  • Re:engage - marriage ministry (To begin 2017)

SERVE FEARLESSLY

we are all called to show the love of christ to others, whether it’s serving our church, our community, or our world… our actions and service allow those around us to see him.

Serving is an important part of reaching others and showing compassion. Which is why, at Hope Fellowship, ten percent of all general offerings automatically goes to local outreach and global missions. In addition, we encourage all individuals to get involved in one of our many serve opportunities: ministry teams (weekend teams, Adventure Kidz, Student Ministries, Grow Leaders), Project Serve, and mission trips. We plan to continue supporting and reaching out to others in our surrounding communities, nationally and many places abroad.

To accomplish this we must raise at least five million dollars over the next the next two years, which will be used as follows:

  • Ministry staffing for missions and outreach
  • Missionaries and organizations around the world
  • Ministry and staffing for Children and Student Ministries
  • Project Serve and local outreaches
  • Ministry and staffing for technology, human resources, finance and administration
  • Facilities, utilities and maintenance

EXPAND FEARLESSLY

since the year 2000, god has called hope fellowship to reach our neighbors and community. today, we believe god has called us to expand our reach once again; to reach more people as the number of lost and hurting in our communities continue to grow.

To accomplish this, Hope is going to expand our Frisco East campus. Expansion will allow us to begin new ministries called Re:generation and Re:engage. It will also allow us to connect with more students and children in our next generation ministries. We do this because lost people matter to God... so they should matter to us.

To accomplish this we must raise at least ten million dollars over the next the next two years, which will be used as follows:

  • Build a 1,700 seat auditorium
  • Renovate current auditorium into state of the art children’s area
  • Renovate current children’s area to be used for adult ministries
  • Increase current lobby
  • Renovate campus office
  • Increase parking

A one fund is utilizing a single fund where all the financial support goes to all of our ministry needs and expenses. This approach will allow us to easily track and celebrate all the giving toward the Fearless campaign and Hope Fellowship.

No one is going to ask you to give a certain amount. That decision is to be prayerfully made by each individual or family. We ask everyone to seriously and openly ask the Lord to guide you in determining what you should give.

Be creative! Explore other ways you and your family can give. You may have savings, securities, properties or other items of that nature. Or, perhaps you have other stored resources God may be calling you to give.

We will have a special commitment weekend on the weekend of October 15/16 in which everyone who chooses to participate will turn in a commitment card. This card is not a contract - it is a statement of faith and intent. Your Fearless commitment giving begins on November 5/6.

We are asking each individual and/or family to prayerfully consider taking a step up in their giving. If you have never given, consider stepping up to Initial giving. If you are giving occasionally, consider moving to Consistent giving. If you are already consistent in your giving, consider taking a step to Intentional. If you already give a set percentage of less than 10%, consider Tithing. If you’re already tithing, we invite you to the Fearless level.

A commitment card helps the church to understand what kinds of gifts to expect and when to expect them. By completing this card, you allow the Hope to move forward with a thoughtful and wise financial plan.

It begins November 5/6, 2016 and will end December 31, 2018.

Yes. Only our small financial team has knowledge of pledges and giving.
