be refined at the Foundry!
The most skilled blacksmith knows that to make the strongest steel, the impurities must be hammered out. Similarly, men are made stronger when we allow God’s Word to strike a formative blow each time we read it and put it into practice. This year at “The Foundry”, men from Hope’s surrounding communities will gather at the Frisco West campus to encourage one another to be refined by God. We are not defined by our imperfections, but we are refined by Christ!
This year we have a fantastic guest lineup: Robert Madu will challenge us from God’s Word, illusionist Justin Flom will leave you scratching your head in wonderment, and Hope's former Worship Pastor, Aubrey McGowan, will join us to share a word from his heart as well. There will be plenty of laughs, late night food, and inspiration! Join hundreds of other men to be refined at “The Foundry”.

a little about our guests
Robert presents the gospel in such a unique and dynamic way, that you’re leaning in, holding on to every word that is spoken, as he paints the beauty of the transforming, powerful, life-giving, word of God. Robert is compelled, to make aware to every individual that God is for them and that He has a specific plan and purpose for every life.
In addition to his itinerate ministry he serves on the teaching team at Trinity Church in Cedar Hill, TX, a church that he has called home since the age of 3. He is a fashion fanatic, cheers loud for America’s team, the Dallas Cowboys, and enjoys watching movies in his man-cave!
“Well, you shut me up. Amazing.” — Penn Jillette (of Penn and Teller)
“Justin wowed our guys in a big way. We’re still talking about it and still trying to figure out how he did everything!” — Pete Carroll, Head coach and executive vice president of the Seattle Seahawks
“Justin was fantastic! I have passed his name on to others in the Viacom family as well!” — Vanessa Barone, MTV, Special Events
Aubrey enjoys creating with his four kids, nearly dying at Crossfit, and performing original music with his wife. His life’s goal is to be more like Jesus and MacGyver.
