Take a few minutes to check in with everyone in your group.
What are/were your Valentines plans?
What is one way you felt truly loved this week?

ENGAGE: When John walked us through the book of Hosea last week, we saw the major themes of the book: Relationship, Unfaithfulness, Faithfulness, Consequences, and Redemption. Where have you seen each of these themes play out in your life thus far? Give examples.

READ: Galatians 6:7
READ: Hosea 6:6
READ: Hosea 4:6
READ: Hosea 9:1

ENGAGE: God is looking for intimacy with each of us, acknowledgment from us and loyalty. What does it mean to you that God is wanting that type of relationship with you?
ENGAGE: What is your current response to God’s desire for a relationship like that with you?

READ: Genesis 1:26

ENGAGE: Knowing that we are made in the image of God, what are the things we should be looking for in relationships?

1. Be Aligned with God

READ: Psalm 23:5

ENGAGE: Reflecting on today, this week, this season, is your cup overflowing? Why or why not?
ENGAGE: Based on your answer to the above question, what are those closest to you receiving from what you give? Are they getting the last few drops of your cup, the leftovers, or are they getting the overflow?

2. Grounded in Truth

READ: 1 Peter 5: 6-8

ENGAGE: What are some practical ways you can take time to self-examine before criticizing your loved ones?

3. Pursue the Possibilities

ENGAGE: Take a few minutes to think of a relationship that needs restoration, or maybe just one that has seen better days. Spend some time reflecting and setting a vision for what could be. Write it down.
ENGAGE: As you continue having some time of reflection, maybe the relationship that need restoration is that between you and God. Write down your vision and dreams for what that looks like as well.

READ: Isaiah 58:3-9

ENGAGE: Spend some time reflecting as a group on the following- Are you trying to be right with your family and friends, or are you truly trying to be made right?

Take prayer requests and leaders spend some time in prayer over your group.
