Seeds of Hope will be a place where acceptance is cultivated and relationship needs are met.
This children's special needs ministry will break down barriers that keep children with disabilities, Early Childhood through 5th grade, and their families from being able to participate in the community of the church.
Our dream is this ministry would give hope to the kids who attend church. Our hope is the kids would know and believe their disability does not define them and that they belong, are chosen, and were divinely created as a masterpiece by God.
The mission of this ministry is to engage kids in such a way the child’s family and friends want to join the tight-knit community called Seeds of Hope.
To teach kids their disability does not define them and that they belong, are chosen and were divinely created as a masterpiece of God.
The goal for the buddy program is inclusion. Children will have the opportunity to worship, engage in a Bible story, and create something extraordinary alongside their peers in their age/developmentally appropriate environment.
Each child is paired with one or two volunteers throughout the duration of service. These volunteers help create an atmosphere where kids feel treasured, wanted, loved, seen, worthy, and significant.
