Week 1: November 5 – 9

Day 1: Prayer for Hope’s Fearless Future

“Dear God, I pray right now for Hope Fellowship to continue to be a light to this community. We ask that as the name of Jesus is lifted higher, that you would grow your people. Grow our church spiritually, numerically, financially, and relationally. Allow us to experience a move of God through the work of this ministry. Let us never lose focus that we exist to reach out to our community. To be the light to those who have yet to find You. Give us eyes to see what you see and a heart to do what you want us to do. We are grateful for the work you are doing through the people at this church. We are thankful for everyone who contributes and is involved in making this ministry possible. We pray over the different ministries at Hope and that You would show us how to serve and minister to others through our specific area of ministry. In Jesus name, Amen.”

Proverbs 3:5-6

Trust in the Lord with all your heart;
    do not depend on your own understanding.
Seek his will in all you do,
    and he will show you which path to take.

Day 2:   Prayer for Future Prosper Campus

“Lord, we ask for your guidance. As we look at our growing community and the growing needs that people have to know your love and direction, we sense that you are calling us to expand our reach and start a Prosper campus. However, like all things we know that people have plans but your plans are always greater. We ask for your will to be done, your plans to be accomplished, and your church to expand as you see fit. If this is your plan, we ask for the right timing, the right leadership, the right plan and for the right provision that only you can give. God, our church is yours, our growth is yours and may your will be done and not ours.”

Matthew 28:18-20

Jesus came and told his disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

Day 3: Prayer for Future Church Plants

“Dear God, we continue to join with all believers and pray for your kingdom to continue to expand here in North Texas, in the United States, and all over the world. We pray for all those that don’t know your amazing grace and kindness, that they would soon find you. We pray for your church to continue to grow so all people will hear the good news of your gracious and loving ways. We pray that you will raise up future leaders and pastors to shepherd God’s flock and bring the good news to all people in all places.”

Acts 2:41-47

Those who believed what Peter said were baptized and added to the church that day—about 3,000 in all.

All the believers devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, and to fellowship, and to sharing in meals (including the Lord’s Supper), and to prayer.

A deep sense of awe came over them all, and the apostles performed many miraculous signs and wonders. And all the believers met together in one place and shared everything they had. They sold their property and possessions and shared the money with those in need. They worshiped together at the Temple each day, met in homes for the Lord’s Supper, and shared their meals with great joy and generosity— all the while praising God and enjoying the goodwill of all the people. And each day the Lord added to their fellowship those who were being saved.

Day 4: My Fearless Prayer

“Lord, I stand here today with open hands and an open heart to trust in whatever you are calling me to do and in whatever path you are calling me to walk down. I want to be fearless in my trust in you – and follow. I want to be fearless in hope in you – that you have all things under your control and that you are my source for all things. May I fearlessly trust you for my finances, my future, my family, and for anything and everything that you want to do with my life.”

Psalm 46

God is our refuge and strength,
    always ready to help in times of trouble.
So we will not fear when earthquakes come
    and the mountains crumble into the sea.
Let the oceans roar and foam.
    Let the mountains tremble as the waters surge! Interlude

A river brings joy to the city of our God,
    the sacred home of the Most High.
God dwells in that city; it cannot be destroyed.
    From the very break of day, God will protect it.
The nations are in chaos,
    and their kingdoms crumble!
God’s voice thunders,
    and the earth melts!
The Lord of Heaven’s Armies is here among us;
    the God of Israel is our fortress. Interlude

Come, see the glorious works of the Lord:
    See how he brings destruction upon the world.
He causes wars to end throughout the earth.
    He breaks the bow and snaps the spear;
    he burns the shields with fire.

“Be still, and know that I am God!
    I will be honored by every nation.
    I will be honored throughout the world.”

The Lord of Heaven’s Armies is here among us;
    the God of Israel is our fortress.

Day 5: Prayer for Pastors and Staff of Hope Fellowship

“Heavenly Father thank you for your church. Thank you for our local church – Hope Fellowship. May we join together with all churches everywhere and bring glory to your Name by loving you, loving others, and laying down our lives for the sake of your good news. We pray for our pastors and staff that you would continue to lead them in your truth, protect them from evil, and continue to draw their hearts to you. May we never lose our way as we continue to follow your plan for Hope Fellowship to care for our community and our world.”

Hebrews 10:24-25

Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.
