Week 3: November 19-23

Day 11: Prayer for Hope Kids, Hope Students and YA

“God thank you so much for the children, teenagers and young adults that are a part of Hope Fellowship and for those that will soon be here. We pray that you would protect them, continue to make their hearts open to your ways, give them compassion for everyone around them and lead them on your path for their lives. We also pray for the leaders and volunteers who serve them. Grant them insight, patience and a deep compassion as they continue to share your love and grace. May all we do to serve these wonderful people bring glory and honor to You and may your richest blessings be poured upon them.”

2 Timothy 3:14-15

Day 12: Those needing community, recovery, connection or care

“Father, thank you for your compassion and mercy that are new every day of our lives. Today, I pray for the adults in our community that are going through a tough time. For those that are feeling lonely and isolated, I pray that you would bring them rich community; for those that are lost in addiction or harmful behavior, I pray that you would bring them healing and peace; for those that are overwhelmed by the circumstances of life, I pray that you would grant them provision and trust. Finally, help the ministries of Hope Fellowship continue to be a light and a place of peace and restoration to those that are in need of your grace.

Psalm 34:18 & Psalm 147:3

Day 13: Prayer For the Lost

“Dear God, today I pray for those who don’t know you as their Lord. I ask that you help me to be an example to them of what it looks like to have a relationship with You. Help me to be kind to others around me. Let me speak only what is right, and do unto others as I would want them to do unto me. Help me to be a living example of how YOU can change a life. Thank You for loving me. In Jesus name, Amen.”

Luke 15:1-7

Day 14: Prayer of Thankfulness (Thanksgiving Day)

“Lord, today I am so thankful for your kindness, mercy, and love. I am so thankful for all of your provision, your guidance and your continued forgiveness.” Take a few moments to make a list of all the things you are thankful for. Share that list with God. If you are able, share that list with your friends or family.

Psalm 118:1-18

Day 15: Prayer for our teachers/schools

“Dear God, I pray for every school in our area. May our children be safe and surrounded by those that encourage them.  May they always find their identity in you. Give our children wisdom in making the right friends. I lift up all teachers to you right now. May our teachers be patient with the students and have the wisdom to provide them with all that they need. Give them the strength to make it through each and every day as they watch over their students, while also going home to take care of their own families. I ask that you bless them Father for choosing to raise up the next generation of leaders, government officials, pastors, missionaries, and other productive members of society. In Jesus name, Amen.”

Colossians 3:16
