Child Dedication

Hope Fellowship celebrates with you and your family for the blessing of your child. We believe “Children are a gift from the Lord; they are a reward from Him” Psalm 127:3. The important decision to dedicate your child is founded on Biblical tradition. Take the time to read these Biblical stories of children being dedicated to the Lord.

Child Dedication is going to look a little different next month. We have decided to combine all our campuses and offer Child Dedication at the Frisco East campus in addition to LiveStream. This will allow families to participate from home or in person at the Frisco East Campus. It does not matter which campus your family attends, you can participate in person at our Frisco East Campus or via LiveStream. Whichever is easiest and safest for your family. If you choose to participate via LiveStream, we still need you to register and send in a picture of your child with the registration form. If you have any questions, email hopekids@hopefellowship.net.

1 Samuel 1:21-28 – Hannah dedicates her son Samuel to the Lord.
Luke 2:22-24 – Joseph and Mary dedicate Jesus.

Although the dedication service is not a Biblical mandate, the commitment to raise our children in a Godly home is a priority as written in Ephesians 6:4 and Proverbs 22:6. Our child dedication service at Hope Fellowship is intended to help every parent understand the importance and privilege of having and raising one’s children.

Being a great parent takes effort.

To assist you in your journey as a Godly parent, we encourage you to do the following things:
