Communications Coordinator

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Communications Coordinator at Hope exists to oversee Hope’s communication (internal and external) and to serve the online community of the church. A person who would be great in this role carries strong writing, creative, editing, and proofreading skills.

Communication

    • Carries the voice of our Lead Pastor through our communication
    • Writes and sends weekly emails and newsletters
    • Writes and posts creative write-ups for all series and events
    • Partners with ministry leads to help develop communication strategies
    • Gathers data, information, and feedback from events
    • Creates promotion plan for every event, series, and campaign
    • Develops a system to listen for stories within the organization
    • Creatively communicates stories
    • Updates website and app daily
    • Collects digital traffic and analytics
    • Finds new and creative ways to market to the community
    • Creates and executes advertising and promotion plans

DIGITAL CONTENT

    • Manages calendar and upkeep for Studio A
    • Schedules and posts content for YouTube and podcast platforms

CHURCH ONLINE PLATFORM

    • Manages functions for Hope’s Church Online Platform
    • Recruits and builds a team of volunteer online hosts for the weekend

REQUIREMENTS

    • Strong writing, creative, editing, and proofreading skills
    • Experienced with digital platforms and tech savvy
    • Experienced with website maintenance
    • Posture of positivity and flexibility 
    • Ability to be proactive and lead self
    • Disciplined time management
    • People friendly and positive communication skills
    • High attention to detail
    • High ingenuity and innovative 

SCHEDULE

Office Time: Monday through Friday 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM
