Take a coin. Toss it in the air. Now call it— Heads? Tails? What if you could choose both sides?
While praying in the garden of Gethsemane, Jesus modeled a prayer that can revitalize and transform any believer. In the same sentence, he both requested (“Take this cup”) and relinquished (“Not my will”). Jesus could be honest because he knew the Father loved him and would hear him. He could pray with abandon because he loved the Father and trusted his will. In her book, The Prayer Coin: Daring to Pray with Honest Abandon, author Elisa Morgan explores this two-sided prayer masterpiece, inviting readers to the intimacy Jesus died to provide.
Men’s Bible Study – Gospel of Mark

TUESDAYS | 6:30 PM | ONGOING
CHILDCARE IS AVAILABLE ON TUESDAY EVENINGS ONLY. COST: FREE
The Gospel of Mark chronicles Jesus’ journey from Galilee to Jerusalem. Along the way, the Messiah gathers a ragged band of disciples. As crowds grow and dwindle on the road to Jerusalem, only a few stick by the Suffering Savior on the road of discipleship. In this 11-part series on the Gospel of Mark, author and speaker Francis Chan invites us to walk with him along the ancient ways of the Master. Tracing the steps of Jesus and the Twelve through Israel, Francis explores the major themes of the Gospel of Mark, and asks: Are we willing to take this journey to embrace discipleship?
Grief Recovery – Session 2
SUNDAYS | 11:00 AM | BEGINS MARCH 24
CHILDCARE IS AVAILABLE. COST: $10
Grief is a natural, although at times overwhelming, emotional response to loss of a loved one. Your grief is not something to be avoided, but a God-given process to be embraced. It is not our intent to help you finish grieving, that will take a longer time. The goal is to provide a safe environment where you will feel support, give support, learn coping skills and become aware of some tools to help you learn from your grief and mourn in a way that is healthy. We cannot control the fact that our loved one has died, but we can influence how our reaction to this loss and our efforts to mourn this loss effectively will impact our life. This class is an opportunity to process through your loss and develop that new normal. Book is included in the cost of the class.
